How do I create an account?
How do I log-in to my account?
- Click-on the "Sign-In/Register" link at the top right side of any page on our website.
- Fill-in your e-mail address and password in the designated spaces.
- Click-on "Sign-In".
How do I edit my account information?
- Log-in to your account as explained above. You will immediately taken to a MY ACCOUNT page.
- On the My Account page, click-on "Edit" to make changes to any of your account information.
- Make changes to your account information as desired.
- When you have made the changes you require, then click-on "SAVE".
I forgot my password, what do I do?
- Click-on the "Sign-In/Register" link at the top right side of any page on our website.
- Click-on "Can’t recall you Password... Click here for assistance".
- Then, just follow the prompts.
Ordering Ruth’s Baked Goods & Other Fine Things
How Do I Order?
- First select the product of your choice and choose the quantity desired from the drop-down menu. The greater the quantity the lower the per unit cost. However, to get these savings benefits the entire quantity ordered at this time must be shipped to the same Recipient/Destination. To order the same item for more than one person please place separate orders for each individual Recipient. You will be able to designate individual Recipients for each item ordered in our check-out procedure.
- Select a special wrapping at this time only if you wish an item to be wrapped for a special occasion.
- Then, simply, click-on "Add To Cart".
After you complete an order for an item you will be given a choice to continue shopping or to proceed to Check-Out.
What Is A Bake/Ship Date? How Do I Select A Date?
Ruth’s brownies, cookies, cakes and biscotti are baked to order in small batches and shipped the same day as baked to assure their freshness. You can choose the exact date your brownies are baked and shipped from among the available baking days. If you do not select a baking date, your order will be baked and shipped on the very next available baking day.
To select a baking day first place your order for an item.During the Check-out procedure you will be prompted to select a baking/shipping date. To select a baking day click-on the calender icon and a calender will appear displaying all available baking days. You can view dates and reserve a baking/shipping date as far as 3 months into the future. Then, simply click-on the date you desire and that information will be entered into your order. It’s that simple.
Please note that not all dates are available for baking and shipping. For instance we do not normally bake and ship on Sundays (though if you have a special need please contact our Customer Service Department). Because our baked goods are handcrafted in small batches our daily capacity is limited. Consequently, some days may NOT be available for your order as our capacity for that date may have been reached.

When can I Expect My Order Delivered?
If you choose USPS Priority Mail, your order will be usually be delivered 2 days afer the Bake/Ship Date you select. If you select USPS Express Mail your order will be delivered the very next day after the Bake/Ship Date you select.
What Are My Payment Choices?
You may pay for your order at Check-out with any of the most popular credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover) ... or you may use PayPal.
Do I Have To Pay Sales Tax?
You will be charged Sales Tax only if the order is shipped to a recipient whose address is located within New York state. Sales Tax will be charged based on the price of the goods ordered; there is no sales tax on shipping.
How Do I Purchase A Gift Certificate?
Click-on the Gift Certificate icon in the Horizontal Toolbar near the top of each page and you will be taken to the Gift Certificate product page.
Select the dollar amount of your choice. Gift Certificates are offered in denominations of $25, $50, $100, $250 and $500. You will also be asked to provide the Recipient’s name and e-mail address. Finally, you will be asked for the message you want to appear on the Gift Card. Then, simply, click on ADD TO CART.
Once you Check-out and pay for your Gift Certificate order, it will be immediately e-mailed with an electronic Gift Card to the Recipient. The e-mail will include a Special Gift Code that enables the Recipient to use the Gift Certificate when shopping.

How Do I Use A Gift Certificate
To use a Gift Certificate shop normally. Then at Check-out you will be prompted to enter the special Gift Code that allows you the use of your Gift Certificate. When using a Gift Certificate the face value of the certificate will be deducted from the total offer and you will be responsible for any additional balance owed. Unused balances will remain available for use for 12 months.
How Do I Use A Promotional Coupon?
To use a Promotional Coupon shop normally. Then at Checkout you will be prompted to enter the special Promotional Code that allows and validates your use of the Promotional Coupon. The value of the coupon will automatically be deducted from the total cost of your purchase. Promotional Coupons can only be used when shopping on-line.
Shipping
Where Do We Ship To?
We ship to all addresses within the United States including Alaska and Hawaii. Because we cannot guarantee the freshness of our products because of the distances and shipping times involved, we do not ship to addresses in Puerto Rico, APO boxes or any destinations outside of the United States.
When will my order ship?
In the case of our fresh-baked brownies and other baked goods, your order will ship on the same day your order is baked. This is either the Bake/Ship date you select; or the next available baking date should you not select a date. All other goods will normally ship within 24 hours of your placement of an order.
What are my shipping options?
- 2 Day Delivery. Our shipping method of choice is the United States Post Office’s PRIORITY MAIL. This shipping method is highly reliable and requires two days (or, on rare occasions, three days) in transit at a fair and reasonable cost.
- Overnight Delivery. Should you have a need for an overnight delivery we can ship your order USPS EXPRESS MAIL, although this is not guaranteed it is highly reliable unless being delivered to remote locations .
When will my order be received?
If you select USPS Priority mail your order will normally be received two days after your order is baked and shipped. USPS Priority Mail does deliver on Saturday (at no extra charge) but does not deliver on Sundays. To see when your order will be received please check the table below.
If you select Express Mail your order will be delivered the very next day after it is baked and shipped.

Shipping Costs Are Per Recipient
Shipping and handling costs are charged per recipient and are based on the total dollar value of the order, exclusive of any taxes, being shipped to that recipient. See Shipping Info &Costs for details of shipping costs.
In the warmer months of May 1 through September 30 a $7.00 surcharge is added for protective packaging and a cold pack to help protect your order from the heat.

How Do I Track My Order?
Shortly after your order is shipped you will receive an email from the USPS notifying you that your order is on its way. This e-mail will contain a tracking number you can check by going to the USPS website.
What About Shipping When It’s Warm?
During the warm months (May 1 - September 30) we ship all baked goods in special insulated packaging with a coldpack to help keep them cool and fresh. There is a $7.00 Shipping surcharge for this additional service.
Returns
Ruth’s Freshness Guarantee
We take every precaution to maintain the highest standards in preparing your order and shipping it the same day as baked to assure its freshness and delicious taste. However, if for any reason you are dissatisfied with our products you may return them for a replacement or a refund of the full purchase price (not including any shipping & handling costs).
How To Make A Return
Following the two steps outlined below will assure your replacement item(s) or refund is processed promptly. It may take up to 10 working days for a credit to appear on your credit card account.
- First, please contact us by sending us an e-mail from the Contact Page on this website. Please describe the item being returned and tell us why. Be sure to include your name, address and telephone number.
